Pastrychik Chocolate bar wrapper

The Project details for this was a chocolate bar wrapper for a baker based in San Mateo,CA. She makes specialized cakes, pastries and other goodies including her chocolates.

She liked the orange and brown combination. Still waiting for actual product shots of client but she was pleased with the outcome. :) Chosen: first two on the left.

here are the actual product shots from the client...

Big Mouth Burger Ad design

Here's one of my ongoing projects, I'm still debating whether to adjust the lighting on the burger to make it more of the same plane or leave the lighting different to keep the burger product shot popped up.

of all the designs, the first one mocked up is the winner!!:)

Michelle Bikini Bottom DL

I finally get to do a fun project again! this is to be part of a cake design.
The task was to create a driver's license with humor attached to it. I think what helped was finally practicing on some gradient mesh and gradients. I definitely enjoyed working on this :)

TRG Menu 2011

Here's a sneak peak into the upcoming menu for Texas Roadhouse grill this coming fall. The theme is monochromatic look but still have that rough cowboy feel to it.
It feels a lot darker than the previous one but the goal is to make the backgrounds darker so that the food images will pop out more.

Pineapple Fit and Right

Last july 11th, I was asked by Del Monte Philippines to design some studies for one of their brands, fit and right-- a health drink that is proven to help burn fat. I found it a very challenging project because it had to look different from their previous bottle labels and given the time frame-- i was really worried i wouldn't come up with something that they'd like. To sum it all up it was both stressful but also fulfilling knowing that I am somehow contributing to this brand and it was definitely an honor to work with such great marketing people in their company.

I was also approached to make some studies by using their design agency's initial design but creating the call out "Block and Burn Formula" element. The task was to make something like a logo for this.

Budapas- Conceptual Asian Tapas Restaurant

Budapas, a conceptual asian tapas restaurant. I was asked to design an entire brand for this restaurant. I worked on the logo as well as a mock-up menu and other presentation materials. Their target market is very upscale and a restaurant that will allow you to try a lot of dishes without having a to bring a to go back with you. Personally I like the concept :)

Little Beans Logo

This was a very fun project for me mainly because I got a lot of creative freedom. The project was to create a logo for a US based event planning company that would cater to plan events for both kids and adults. So it was finding the right balance between the two that was the challenge but i figured that a simple element can catch this effect.

Below is the application of the logo on their website designed by their web designer.

nanbantei menu proposals

Nanbantei, a restaurant located at greenbelt 3, is officially one of my favorite restaurants since i tried it last month. They serve a lot of grilled foods which i feel is a much healthier approach to today's rich food genres. They have a new approach to making nanbantei a bit more modern as well as still keeping the japanese look to it. below are a couple of menu proposals i had in mind for such a restaurant.
